Wall Covering Business in Atlanta Dates Back to 1981

Atlanta has proved to be a very dynamic city, offering ample opportunity for a skilled craftsman. The Atlanta Decorative Arts Center and its showrooms offer most of the exclusive wall coverings now made, and Chris has worked for and with most that carry those lines. Designers that frequent ADAC often get his name as a referral, especially for materials that demand a responsible and skilled hand.

Chris R. Murphy Professional Affiliations

In addition to being exposed to both new and traditional materials, Chris has been an active member of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers. He has been a Regional Director, newsletter editor and article author (The Installer), has taught classes on techniques and materials, and had his written instructions used as a study guide. The contacts and alliances Chris has made through the NGPP have been invaluable. Indeed, when extra hands are needed, Chris calls upon either Atlanta and/or local NGPP members. In addition, Chris is a member of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) and an Industry Partner in the American Society of Interior Design (ASID). All these organizations allow Chris to take classes, keep up with industry trends and materials, and network with like-minded professionals, craftsmen and vendors from throughout the interiors industry.
